Install will not run

Hello, I setup my config.php and uploaded the sendy folder. Now when I try to navigate to the page to begin installation my browser starts a download of a file called "sendy" and shows a blank tab. If I try _compatibility.php it just downloads a copy of that .php file. Help! Thanks.

    That means PHP is not installed on your web server. You need to install PHP on your web server.
