Autoresponder not getting sent

edited July 16 in Troubleshooting

Hello,

I have a four-email drip campaign that is not getting sent when I remotely hit the URL:

https://my-send-domain/autoresponders.php

In version 6.1, I notice that the send schedule seems to expect a segment, and so I created an "All Users" segment defined by "Signed up after Jan 1 2014".

However, my drip campaign mails are still not getting sent.

Any ideas how to troubleshoot? Thanks so much!

    Hi,

For Autoresponders to work, you cannot execute the autoresponders.php script directly, it won't work.

You need to setup a cron job for the autoresponders.php script. Please follow the instructions on setting up a cron job for autoresponders.php.

Inside any lists, click on the 'Autoresponders' button at the top right and you'll be shown the cron job setup instructions.

If you don't see the instructions, clear the false positive that cron jobs have been setup by visiting http://your_sendy_installation_url/reset-cron.php and hit the reset button. Then you'll see the cron job set up instructions.

No, drip campaigns does not require you to create a segment. It's optional. You can setup your drip campaign emails to send to a segment if you need to, but it is not required.

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Ben
