Catching bounces from email sent outside Sendy

Hi
I use sendy for my newsletter. And it works fine for bounces and subscription for emails sent from sendy. I was wondering if it will catch bounces for emails sent from outside sendy? The email address will be in the subscriber table.
Scenario: When users signup on the site, I add them to the list and send an activation email. Sometimes users miss-type or give wrong emails. So I was wondering if the bounces can be caught, this will save bounces in newsletter.

    Yes bounces will still be caught as long as the email was sent via Amazon SES.
