Replacing Thank You and Goodbye Email Templates?

I'm not able to replace the default Thank You and Goodbye email templates for a list. Can I use my own tested code for these emails?

In addition to wanting to provide a custom design that matches my website, the font size of these messages is too small for mobile. Doesn't look like I can repurpose these email templates by increasing the font size.

    Hi Tim,

    You can edit or replace the default content for the "Thank You" and "Goodbye" emails.

    To edit them, go to your list's settings (View all lists → select your list → List settings). From there, you will find the options to edit the Thank You and Goodbye email subjects and message bodies directly.
