Open rates question

Hello Ben - I have had historically 15-50% opens consistently for a long time - this week the stats are showing 6 & 3% so far.

Has anything recently changed involving:

SSL certificate
Cloudflare or firewall rules
.htaccess
Sendy domain or subdomain
PHP or database updates
security plugins or bot protection

    Hi Greg,

    There haven't been any changes in the latest version of Sendy that would explain a significant drop in open rates.

    If nothing has changed with your server or Sendy installation, I'd be looking at other factors instead. Open rates can fluctuate quite a bit depending on the time of year, your audience, the subject line, the sender name, the time the campaign was sent, and even the segment of subscribers you're emailing.

    It's also worth comparing these campaigns against previous ones to see if anything else changed besides updating Sendy. For example, are the lower open rates affecting every campaign and every list, or only certain campaigns? If clicks are still relatively consistent while only opens have dropped, that would suggest the issue is less likely to be Sendy itself.
