Rackspace Cloud - Install.php refreshes

I'm hosting at rackspacecloud.com and _install.php keeps refreshing. I'm configuring everything according to instructions. Any help? PM me for domain used to purchase license.

yes i uploaded all files including the config.php and .htaccess files.

Ok. I tried accessing http://umbrasystems.com/login to check if mod_rewrite is working properly but it throws a 404 error.

Can you PM me your FTP details so that I can troubleshoot this for you? Thanks.

Yes that's what I was going to try.

Outgoing connections seems to be blocked on your server. The installation file checks your license by making an outgoing connection to our server before proceeding to install. I removed the license checking code and it was able to install.

But when I tried logging in, this error came up - 'Unable to serve this request'

I'm suspecting it's the same issue with outgoing connections. Sendy makes an outgoing connection to Amazon servers to check your SES quotas as well as makes a call to our server to check your license the moment you log in. But the index.php page does not load when I log in.

Can you contact Rackspace support and verify if outgoing connections are blocked?

In case you're wondering, I've verified that 'mod_rewrite' is working properly by adding RewriteBase / below RewriteEngine On as Rackspace specified

I give up on RackspaceCloud.com. What hosting companies do you know where Sendy works? Can you recommend any webhosting partners where you *know* Sendy works?

You may want to try Amazon EC2? We heard it's fast.

For us, our installation of Sendy runs on MediaTemple's dedicated virtual server.
