CSV import is not working

I have created a csv file using excel with 4 custom fields. Added first the fields to sendy. Then tried to import, it says uploading on the left buttom side, counts to 100% and then a message in red is displayed saying "please upload a csv file". I dont know whats wrong?

    Is there a limit to the file size? Bcs when i upload just a portion of the file, it works fine.

    By the way what's the file size of your CSV file?

    the size is 2.3MB

    yes but i had to do it in small portions. I still have around 300K to upload

    You may need to upload them in chunks since it's too big.

    What are future plans for mailing list management tools. I think there is some margin to improve.
