Auto Responder functionality
  • Will auto responders always be limited to 2 per list?

    And will it be possible in future releases to apply auto responders to existing lists? This is a key feature for our needs. Thanks for a good product.

    Auto responders aren't limited to 2 per list.

    You can have:

    1) Drip campaign, create unlimited number of emails and send between intervals
    2) Send annually, create unlimited number of emails that sends annually
    3) Send on date, create unlimited number of emails that sends on a date

    If you only have 1 date based custom field in your list, you can only create either one autoresponder that 'sends annually' or 'send on a date'. You cannot create both for each date based custom field. But you can add unlimited number of emails in each type of autoresponder.

    And will it be possible in future releases to apply auto responders to existing lists?

    'Send annually' and 'send on date' sends autoresponder emails to existing users of a list. But not drip campaigns.

    To workaround this, you can write a script and call the API to re-import your current list (be sure to delete all subscribers from current list first). The drip campaign will work for emails imported via API or subscribe form.
