Does Enabling 'Password Protect Directories' For Sendy Installation Folder Stop Any Sendy Functions?

Hi guys,

I'm currently using cPanel to install my Sendy system. Just want to ask your opinion, if I enable the 'Password Protect Directories' for my Sendy installation folder (eg: mywebsite.com/sendy), does this will stop or effect any Sendy functions or activities itself?

If yes, what are your suggestions to make sure our installed Sendy system (really) safe other than using SSL method?

Do advice me my friends.

Hi Zul, I don't think it will affect any functions. I imagine your Sendy installation will not be accessible unless you unlock it. Sending wise, I'd suggest sending a test email to check if you can receive it.
