Generate a clean list with an opt-in from email

I have a list of emails that needs to be verified and moved into another list. What I would like is for an opt-in link that automatically sends the visitor to a thank you page while sending their name and email to a new list. Is this possible?

Hi @sq1west,

You can specify a custom URL to send the visitor to after they subscribe (or unsubscribe). Go to the settings page of any list and you'll be able to specify that.

Then subscribe the user through the subscribe form. Their name and email will be saved into your desired list. After which they'll be redirected to the custom URL.

So is there any way to do this without submitting a new form? I'd be happy to pay for a custom script around this. The client wants as little interaction as possible.
