Unsubscribed User Resubscribe Using Opt-In Form, Didn't Get Confirmation Email

Hi there,

I'm running 1.1.3.1 version here and I'm using Double Opt-In method. I do unsubscribed from a test list and after that, I resubscribe back using the opt-in form (not by clicking the 're-subscribe' link at the unsubscribe page). The problem here is, I didn't receive Confirmation Email but, Sendy shows that I've subscribed (green label).

When I delete the record (by clicking the trash icon) in Sendy, I try again using the Opt-In form. Now, the Confirmation Email comes in. I wonder what is going wrong with my Sendy.

  • Hi @zulhfreelancer,

    This is not a bug. It's designed to be this way.

    The logic is when a user has confirmed their subscription before, that means they are human and not a robot. It also mean the email is valid.

    So when they unsubscribe and re-subscribe again, they will not need to confirm their subscription again as it is redundant.
