We are facing problem when ever we send out a newsletter to a list. The campaign gets paused within minutes of sending out. The list contains only 1000 email addresses and it is taking around 3 hours to finish sending to email addresses in list. I have resumed the campaign three times during this time period. Please help. Thanks.
Did you setup cron to send emails? Using cron to send is more reliable and sending resumes automatically when your server times out.
A lot of users requests for auto resume and it was implemented 8 versions ago. So I'd recommend setting up cron to send your newsletters.
Are you on a shared server? On a shared server, memory and CPU are shared among thousands. If you want the best sending speed and reliability or you think sending campaigns is important to you, I'd recommend hosting Sendy on at least a virtual dedicated server, or Amazon EC2.
Also, what is your PHP's allocated memory_limit? I'd suggest a higher memory_limit like at least 128MB.
For a start, try setting up cron to send your newsletters.
