What am I missing here?
Here's the most recent email that just went a little while ago. It shows 90 bounces from double opt-in subscribers who have confirmed their email address through MailChimp (this is an imported list and does not reflect subscribers who subscribed through Sendy's form as we are having those programmed and integrated now).
Is this counting vacation/out-of-office auto responders or what?
Something's not right somewhere. That's a lot of subscribers to lose.
If Sendy receive bounce notifications from Amazon SNS, it will mark them as 'bounced'.
You may want to try posting your question on Amazon SES forum if you suspect Amazon incorrectly marks valid emails as bounced.
