How do I backup Sendy

Hi Everyone,
I am stuck here as to how to backup my Sendy Installation. I have looked here and on the web and cannot find a proper course of action to take.
What I want to do is use FileZilla or some other App to backup not only the Sendy Folder but also the MySQL Database. I am not sure if backup the folder is just enough.
I am sure others would benefit from a step by step guide..
