Wordpress Sendy Plugin

edited January 2013 in Suggestions

Hello Ben, any plans of creating a Wordpress plugin that works with Sendy, namely one that syncs the user lists in Sendy with Wordpress users (ie based on role)?

Thanks

    Hi @hamid,

No plans yet but thanks for your suggestion. I'll consider it when working on future updates.

There are now lots of Wordpress plugins that integrates with Sendy, see it here →

    Thanks.

  • This would be brilliant! Although the copying the form from the list settings is pretty straightforward enough in Wordpress.
Custom form creation in wordpress would be a nice addition.

  • Not sure where my posts went, but I'll just +1 this suggestion.

  • Sorry @marketingnate, I had to restore the forum's database from a previous backup due to some issues so your last comment was gone.

For others interested in a Sendy Wordpress plugin, here's an unofficial one → http://wordpress.org/plugins/sendy-widget/

  • @Ben No problem! Wasn't sure if I had done something wrong or not...appreciate the response!

  • Has anyone tried the unofficial sendy-widget Wordpress plugin? I would need a lot more features, user sync as well (with WordPress users), ability to segment and send out of Wordpress with a queue displayed would be nice.

  • We are working on a plugin to link Contact Form 7 with Sendy. Today it is working but its ugly and with all settings hardcoded.

We could work to make it easy to use and full settings page if interested in buying something like this.

  • Hi beeking, I would be interested in WP with Contact Form 7.
    Cheers

I have tried using CF7 with the CF7 Integration plugin provided by ContactUs and everything looks right, but it's been a complete pain - and it's not working. I REALLY would like to see something that would work more directly from WP where we can build forms with validation . . . hhhmmmmmm :-/

UPDATE - I ended up just scrapping the whole idea and I went with Gravity Forms and the Sendy plugin here: http://amansaini.me/downloads/gravity-forms-sendy-addon/

It's not the cheapest method, but it works AWESOME. So easy. Wish I hadn't spent 2 days screwing with trying to find another way.
