New autoresponder, what happens to current subscribers?

If I already have my list imported and I start an autoresponder series, will my current list get sent the series? Or is it reserved for only NEW subscribers to the list?

    Only new subscribers who signed up to the list via Sendy's subscribe form or the 'subscribe' API trigger Autoresponder emails to be sent.
