Do I need to create multiple SNS topics for different brands?

Hello,

I am setting multiple brands for my clients and have a question regarding the SNS topics. Do I need to create different topics for each sending domain or sending email to handle bounces? Or can it all be done with one topic?

  • Hi,

    You only need to create one set of 'bounces' and 'complaints' SNS topic/subscription as per Step 7 & 8 of the Get Started Guide.

    For every email or domain you verify in your Amazon SES console, you need to set the 'bounces' and 'complaints' SNS 'Notifications' for them (also as written in the Get Started Guide).
