Lower sending rate

I want to send at a lower sending rate than 1 e-mail / second (to not get detected as spam)

If I set the cron job to a lower time than 1 / 5 minutes, that will result in a lower sending rate?

    You can't send emails slower than 1 email per second. The lowest send rate is 1 email per second.
