Sendgrid- Web API needed?

Hello! About to sign up with Sendgrid on a trial basis. Their Lite plan offers SMTP Relay and SMTP API; an upgrade is needed for their Web API. Would Sendy require the Web API in order to use full functionality?

    Hi @Zoomcake,

    Enter Sendygrid's SMTP settings when editing your 'brand' if you want to use other email service providers other than Amazon SES.

    Thanks! One more related question- would SendGrid's bounce and complaint webhooks into Sendy's php endpoints work out of the box? I'll be running tests either way but wanted to get your view on it.

    No it will not. You'll need to manually import bounce / complaint records exported from SendGrid into Sendy for mass deletion or unsubscribe.
