Import performance

I'm experiencing some very slow import times with the latest version of Sendy. I was trying to import 100K emails, but it was progressing at only ~10/sec.
I've already allocated 1GB to php, so I'm not sure what the slow down could be. Do you have any suggestions?

Speed for importing CSV is not related to sending speed. Moreover, the issue on the thread you included above has been resolved with indexes added to the database from version 1.1.5 onwards which resulted in double increase in sending speed. I'm using an EC2 server with 600MB allocated to PHP for testing. Importing speed is around 200+ per second. See this video http://cl.ly/NoGF (use Chrome or Safari to view if you're on PC).

Are you using a VPS server? What is the server spec like?
