How To Display Total Subscriber List For A Brand On Wordpress Sidebar

This would be a cool feature, can i display my list number on the sidebar and in real time. I want my next subscriber to know upfront how big is my community.
please tell me a way to reflect this. this can act as a huge motivator and a symbol of trust for every next subscriber.
maybe some kind of code that i can paste in a widget on my sidebar or somewhere.
