Amazon SES service suspended due to low content quality

edited June 2013 in Troubleshooting

Hello,

I am using Sendy for the past week and yesterday i've got an email from Amazon saying that my account was suspended.
All of my emails are coming from my newsletter form on my website, i didn't sent spam emails, every time i sent an email i checked the score with Spamassasin and it was 0. I did SPF and DKIM.
I really don't know what to do now and how can i appeal so they can unban my account.

The only bad thing that i think is that i had kinda high bounce rate and yesterday i just signed up to email-checker.com to verify the emails before trying to send any email.
I had setup an autoresponder and sent 2 emails campaigns.

I would really appreciate any help on how i can fix this problem and remove the suspension.

Here is the email that i got.

Dear Amazon Simple Email Service Customer:

Your Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES) sending privileges have been
suspended, effective immediately.

This immediate suspension occurred because we have detected significant issue(s)
with your sending pattern that require us to immediately suspend your sending
privileges in order to protect the sending of all Amazon SES customers. This
supersedes any previous probation warnings you may have received.

If you wish to appeal this suspension, please respond to this email with details
of how you will change your sending in order to avoid this problem or why you
think this notice may be incorrect.

The issue(s) triggering your suspension at this time, updated to reflect current
statistics, are:

*Critically Low Content Quality: Over the last approximately 10,000 email
messages you sent, a critically high percentage were identified as spam by our
filters.

We carefully track each customer's bounce, complaint, and content metrics in
order to improve inbox delivery for all Amazon SES customers. For further
details about each of these metrics and tips on how to improve them, please see
the Amazon SES Email Sending Best Practices Whitepaper at http://media.amazonwebservices.com/AWS_Amazon_SES_Best_Practices.pdf.

Sincerely,

The Amazon SES Team
