Increase softbounce limit?

Hey,

Firstly thanks for the great software - everything is perfect expect in our case for how it handles bounces.

I believe that after 3 soft bounce it converts to hard bounce?

This would be fine in most cases but for us, we send a daily publication to our subscribers, which are all travel industry people. Its often the case in the travel industry that someone might be away for 2 weeks without access to mail - so the 3 softbounce to hard limit would end up reducing our list down drastically.

Is there anyway to set it to 14 softbounes before it goes hard? this would cover a the cases where people are away etc

    Hi @tiptap,

    1. Login to your SNS console
    2. Click 'bounces' topic on the left sidebar
    3. Select the bounces subscription then click the 'Delivery Policy' button
    4. You can increase the number of retries from there (default is 3 as shown)
    5. Do the same for 'complaints' topic if you wish
